Tis the season for dining al fresco! Is there anything better than enjoying a meal with friends and family while basking in the sunshine (or moonlight)? And the food, oh the food, grilled fish and burgers, simple salads with a dash of olive oil and a squeeze of lemon, seasonal fruit desserts, freshly churned ice cream or gelato…..can you tell it’s been a long winter? I’m ESTATIC to get outdoors and entertain this spring and summer! 😀
Take a look at my top picks for spring and summer baking + entertaining!
One lucky fan is going to win some fabulous prizes, as well as some CASH to burn….hmmmm, what should she spend it on? 🙂
Freshen up your patio table with these sunny yellow dahlia placemats. BONUS ~ they’re vinyl, which means they are a cinch to clean! No worries about drippy ice cream cones and spilled margaritas!
I have always thought food looks best on a white plate. They look really delicate, right? WRONG! Inspired by antique French dinnerware, but shatterproof, scratch resistant and dishwasher safe!
As an avid baker + cook, I basically drool over anything engraved with LE CREUSET, the vibrant colors and durability of their products make them one of a foodie’s most prized possessions. I’d probably just put this juicer (green, I want the green one, take a hint, husband!) on a pedestal with a spotlight in the middle of my gigantic marble kitchen island….sorry, kitchen daydreaming again. But on the off chance I need to juice some lemons, I’ll be prepared, right?
Individual Trifle Bowls
Don’t you love having your own individual dessert? It feels so special to have a little bowl of sweetness all your own! These mini trifle bowls are perfect for serving fruit, pudding, ice cream and parfaits. At $2.50 apiece, the price is right!
My kiddos love a lunchtime picnic, and they would squeal with joy if they saw their favorite peanut butter and honey sandwiches on honey wheat bread shaped like butterflies and flowers. Made of food grade stainless steel, these sandwich cutters are durable and easy to use, so the kids could even make their OWN sandwiches….can’t wait until they can make their own sandwiches someday….sorry, daydreaming again!
Flower Baking Cups
No need for a muffin tin, ladies! These silicone baking cups are reusable, not to mention totally adorable. They can be used in the oven or freezer and are also dishwasher safe. Bake a few cupcakes or use them as bowls to serve mini ice cream sundaes for the kids!
Telescoping Roasting Fork
I love a good campfire, especially if I can enjoy it without actually going camping! LOL, I only camp in hotels, just ask my husband, the camper. 😉 We have a chiminea in our backyard, which makes an open flame much safer for my energetic toddler, but more difficult to roast food on a stick. However, with a telescoping roasting fork that extends to 42 inches, you can safely roast a marshmallow without the need for Inspector Gadget arms!
Spigot Beverage Dispenser
Whether you’re selling lemonade or serving up sangria, this spigot beverage dispenser will be a conversation starter. I LOVE the cork top; modern, yet earthy, it will easily go from a lemonade stand by day to a tapas party by night.
